Creams and ointments
Topical preparations for papillomas on the body can be used on their own at home, which greatly simplifies treatment. Unlike the use of tablets, ointments directly affect the papillomatic foci, destroy viral DNA, and normalize proper cell regeneration.

- Salicylic ointment. An agent with a concentration of 60% of the active substance is used for treatment. The course of treatment depends on the effectiveness of the treatment. - Oxoline liniment 3%. The main difference from nasal ointment is the concentration of the active substance. 3% oxoline is required to remove papillomatous foci. The drug has a strong antiviral effect, prevents the appearance of new papillary foci.
- Ointment with interferon. Effective local immunomodulators that actively enhance local immunity. The active substance is human interferon, which has antiviral effects. A characteristic feature is the absence of contraindications, so the agent is widely used in pediatric practice.
- Zinc grease. The drug is effective against many dermatological diseases, including papillomas and warts. Zinc paste is absorbent, astringent and anti-inflammatory. Liniment is made of zinc oxide, which dries the papilloma and contributes to its rapid fall.
- Ointments containing papillomas containing salicylic acid are effective. The products are applied twice a day with an applicator or cotton swab, avoiding contact with healthy areas of skin.
- Ointments with herbal ingredients. The funds boost local immunity, helping to increase its own interferon synthesis. The drug destroys the structure of the papilloma, removes not only the external growth, but also the root of the neoplasm.
- Ointments with complex composition and antibiotics. The main ingredients are the antibiotic chloramphenicol and methyluracil, which belong to the group of immunomodulators. The ointment contributes to the normal regeneration of skin cells, normalizes the water balance in the skin structures. The general course of treatment is 4 weeks, 2-3 times a day.
General complex therapy lasts up to several weeks. Patients should take systemic medications in conjunction with topical agents to stop the viral process as soon as possible.
